Nothing new to post. I've just been working heaps. I've found that living with Australians means that I've been using more aussie-isms in conversation now. I say cheers, heaps, and "how are you going". There are probably more, but those are the ones I'm thinking of.

Anyway, this past two weeks have been school holidays (time between winter and spring semester), so we've been crazy busy these past two weeks. I worked 55 hours last week. It's not too intense, but it's been keeping me busy.

I don't get much time to ski and the weather has been pretty warm and there was some rain, so not the best ski conditions anyway. I think I've been 5 times now. The last time, I only did two runs, but I felt a lot more confident so the next time I go up I will feel better. Slowly getting better.

Roommates and I are getting along really well still. There's the 5 of us in the apartment, and we all hang out and go out together. The girls don't seem to go out as much, so we usually just chill in the room and watch Ellen or movies, and the boys will go out and drink, or just hang with us. Tonight we're all going out to eat. Good group. I'm happy.

Just remembered that legally I'm not allowed to work longer than three months at a single place, so I'm not sure how I'll work here for four months. I'll have to talk to Scot about that ASAP.

I'm hoping to get a tattoo before I leave Australia. Anyone with ideas, let me know. I'm hoping for something Australian-like, but not a kangaroo, the flag, or the southern cross.

I'm thinking about leaving Oz a week or two early and spending a bit of time in Cali before going home. My return ticket is to LA, but I don't have a flight from there yet, so I figure I can hang out there for a bit, get adjusted to the time, see Cali, and then go home. I'm thinking of going to a TV recording (Ellen is what I'm rooting for now), and then see the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the top attraction, maybe get a star map and do some hollywood stuff, and then I'm thinking of going to San Fran for a few days and fly back to MI from there in time for Thanksgiving.

I've also been thinking more about what I'm going to do once I get home. I'll be homeless, so if anyone wants a roommie come November, let me know. I don't think I want to spend that much time in the US though. I want to maybe spend a year or so in Europe, maybe a month or two in Africa or South America, or try for a cruise ship job. I figure more experience would be best for the cruise ship, but who knows.

I guess that's it for me now. I'll let you know if anything big comes up.
